Swifty’s big wheel adult scooters have been back on primetime TV this weekend as part of ITV’s ‘How to Spend It Well at Christmas with Phillip Schofield’. Swifty lent the show one of our electric folding SwiftyONE-e scooters to be put through its paces and reviewed alongside some other popular powered transporters.
For the first episode of the 2019's series, our adult electric scooter has been put to the test by none other than TV soap star Colson Smith, or as you may know him better Craig from Coronation Street! Colson along with Corrie co-stars Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) got to grips with what electric vehicles are popular at the moment and which would be perfect for a Christmas treat!
This isn't the first time we've had some famous faces on a Swifty.. see the other A-listers and Youtube stars that use our scooters HERE
Our SwiftyONE-e can take you up to 10 miles on a single charge with a top speed of 15mph. It weighs only 12.5kg and can take a maximum load of 150kg, compared to the mico scooter featured on the programme which can only take 100kg. As a result, Swifty's are the perfect go-to scooter for taller and heavier riders. With its 16-inch pneumatic wheels and foldable design enabling it to be taken anywhere, the SwiftyONE-e really is the best adult e-scooter available!
What do you think of our electric scooter in action? Colson was a little unsure at first, and being 6'2" tall, he would have suited the SwiftyONE-e-TALL better which has higher handlebars.
