Endurance Solo Scoot for Children in Need
We have a new Swifty endurance hero – Chris Baister! Chris is currently halfway through his epic solo scoot from Land’s End to John O’Groats all in aid of Children in Need. Chris will be scooting this iconic journey solo, 1180 miles from the most southwesterly to the most north-easterly tip of Great Britain, but with a twist – via the Three Peaks.
Two endurance challenges rolled into one, Chris is aiming to make the journey in 3-4 weeks and is making amazing progress, currently smashing at least 60 miles of scooting per day on his special Pudsey scooter!

Children in Need
Children in Need is run by the BBC and has fundraised every year since 1980. A national fundraising effort comes together in the appeal show on the 18th November, and donations help hundreds of disabled and disadvantaged children nationwide. In 2015, Children in Need raised a record-breaking £37m.

The Journey – Where is Chris Now?
Starting at Land’s End on the 4th September 2016, Chris is currently navigating the length of Great Britain, via Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis – the three highest peaks in the UK. Watch his progress via this tracking map – please give him a wave and a cheer as he passes by.
Chris will be scooting and wild camping solo along the way, through all weathers!
