It’s just like buying a car or moped. First decide on your desired colour and spec of your vehicle, you have the option to pay a deposit to reserve your vehicle. Then make sure you have a valid CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) or motorcycle license. You can then check if you are eligible for motor insurance with our recommended provider eavi.uk. Once you receive an insurance quote, you can purchase your vehicle. When it is ready, it will be delivered by courier to you or a registered retailer. Are there any rider restrictions?
At the moment, the age restrictions are governed by the insurance product available. Why do I need a CBT
If you have a driving licence with AM and issued before 2001 you will still need a CBT.
This has been requested by our insurance partner. The reason is that this is a new type of vehicle.
This we understand is not immediately welcome news but actually the responsible thing to do and actually quite a good time to have a refresher.
There are many CBT schools in the UK.
If you hold a full motorcycle licence you do not need a CBT.
