Customs and Handling Charges when ordering from outside of the UK
If you are ordering from outside of the UK, our website automatically charges prices excluding VAT/sales tax. However, you will be charged sales tax when your order reaches your destination country. You will be charged by the courier company. You may also be charged duty fees and a handling fee by the courier company. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict the cost.
If any parcels are returned to us because import charges are higher than expected, we reserve the right to deduct any costs we may incur from your refund.
WE DELIVER TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES AT THE FOLLOWING RATES
Shipping cost is automatically calculated at the checkout.
Spain - Due to courier issues we can't currently ship to customers in Spain.
Norway - Due to customs regulations in , customers will need to provide their 11 digit Personal ID number. This is for the shipping agent to clear the item at customs. Customs in Norway will charge VAT on the item using the PID number information. If you do not want to disclose your PID number to us, you can disclose the information to the shipping agent directly.
1. What is the handling time for my orders?
If your product is in stock and your order is paid before 9:00 am (GMT) (excluding weekends and bank holidays), it will be dispatched the same day.
If your product is in stock and your order is paid after 9:00 am (GMT) (excluding weekends and bank holidays), it will be dispatched the next working day.
If your product is on backorder, or it is a customised item. It will be dispatched as soon as it is ready.
Electric scooter orders will be processed in 5 working days.
2. What courier do you use?
The UK and EU - DPD / DHL for scooters; DPD / Royal Mail for accessories.
Outside EU - DHL for scooters and large accessories, Royal mail for small accessories
Notice: Royal Mail could sometimes take longer than expected, especially when shipping to countries out side the EU. If time is of the essence to you, please select other shipping option, or contact us to discuss upgrading your shipping.
3. Can I change the delivery date or delivery address?
You can request a preferred delivery date when you place your order, £15 is payable for Saturday delivery. If you wish to change your delivery address, please contact us asap. Once the parcel has left our warehouse, please contact DPD directly.
Once your order is dispatched from Swifty HQ, you can manage your delivery within the DPD website or app yourself. The options available are: Collect from Pickup Shop (Not available at the moment due to COVID-19), Deliver to a safe place, Delivery to a neighbour, Change delivery date, or upgrade my delivery.
You can also upgrade to Saturday delivery within the DPD website, just click upgrade my delivery. There will be an extra charge for Saturday delivery.
Due to the nature of international shipping, the delivery date can not be guaranteed. Once the parcel has left our warehouse, please contact DHL directly for any change of information. You will be able to track your parcel with a DHL tracking number.
Once the parcel has left our warehouse we will not be able to change the address. Unfortunately, Royal Mail can not change the shipping address once it's been collected.
4. What is the size and weight of the packed scooter box?
Our scooters are well packed in a sturdy cardboard box. It has a handle and strapping.

5. How do I know what time the courier will arrive?
With DHL you can track your parcel via their website.
With DPD you can track your parcel via their website or app. You will be able to track where your parcel is and will be given a 1-hour time slot via text message to your phone or email. This means that you won't have to wait in all day.
If your delivery is outside of the UK and Europe, you will be able to track your parcel with a DHL tracking number.
6. What extra information do I need to provide to receive a delivery in Norway?
