A few days off over Christmas has allowed us time to reflect on the year just gone. It’s been a roller coaster! Here are a few of our highlights of 2015.
SwiftyAIR flatland with Matti Hemmings
UK number 1 flatland champ wowed the crowds at Manchester Bike Expo, he makes this look so easy!
Special Edition Kick Scooter for Selfridges
In 2015 saw the start of custom painting at SwiftyHQ. We launched this black and yellow special edition, matching to the Selfridges brand colours. These were sold exclusively at the prestigious Oxford Street department store, Selfridges.
Lands End to John O’Groats Solo Scoot
The first man to kick-scoot the length of Britain, Russell Smith makes this 975-mile journey in just 21 days riding a SwiftyZERO, our lightest and fastest scooter. An incredible achievement, Russell packed all his supplies into a 6.5kg backpack and slept under the stars along the way. We caught up with him in the highlands, and the story even made seven national papers!
Swifty on the telly!
2015 saw Swifty make it’s television debut when Kirstie Allsopp rode her custom painted SwiftyONE on Channel 4s Location Location Location.
SwiftyAIR Adventure Scooter tackling the downhill MTB track at Glen Coe
Founder Jason testing the strength and agility of SwiftyAIR down this rocky trail.
Foldable Adult Scooter, SwiftyONE MK3
Our flagship folding scooter SwiftyONE is now into its third iteration. SwiftyONE MK3 is currently in production with our new supplier and I can tell you this, it rides as beautifully as it looks! We’re so excited in awaiting its arrival this spring. Have a happy 2016!
