For one day only, Manchester’s iconic London Road Fire Station will be host to pop-up design festival, Made Here – a free showcase of local designers, makers and creators. All welcome!
This Grade-II listed building has stood abandoned since 1986, when it became too expensive to run as a busy fire station, bank and a coroner’s court. Bought by Allied London last year, the building is soon to be rekindled as a fully functioning Manchester landmark. MADE HERE is the first event initiative from the new owners, offering a sneak peek inside the crumbling landmark.
